65+ years of Croatian heritage
The Cleveland Junior Tamburitzans is a non-profit cultural organization dedicated to preserving our Croatian heritage. For over 65 years, we have celebrated the rich traditions of Croatia through the vibrant art of music, song, and dance.
Our talented young members are taught by professional instructors who are passionate about sharing this cultural legacy.
“We are more than just a performing arts group; we are a community that keeps our heritage alive and thriving for future generations.”
Founded in 1959, CJT accepts members ages 5 through 21. We perform all over the world, including Croatia, Canada, and across the United States. Our Annual Concert each fall draws hundreds of attendees from the greater Cleveland Croatian community and beyond.
The group is entirely parent-sponsored and volunteer-led, with a dedicated Board of Trustees overseeing operations, fundraising, and programming. Professional instructors guide our young performers in dance choreography, tamburitza music, and vocal performance.
