The Cleveland Junior Tamburitzans – Croatian Pride, Inc. (“CJT,” “we,” “us”) is a parent-sponsored, volunteer-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit youth ensemble based in Eastlake, Ohio. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and our online forms, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us, plus basic website usage data:
- Contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), and message.
- Enrollment and membership forms: information about the member and their parents or guardians, such as names, date of birth, contact details, and other details needed to take part in CJT.
- Concert tickets and Program Book ads: your name, contact details, order details, and any ad or message you submit for publication.
- Senior biographies: the biography and details a graduating senior submits for the Concert Program Book.
- Donations: your name, contact details, donation amount, and any note you include.
- Website usage: pages visited, approximate location (city or region), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site.
Payments for donations, tickets, and ads are handled by our payment and form providers. We never receive or store your full card number.
How we use it
- To answer your questions and keep families informed about practices, performances, and events.
- To manage enrollment, membership, dues, and participation.
- To process ticket orders, Program Book ads, and donations, and to send receipts and thank-you messages.
- To publish ads and senior biographies in the Concert Program Book, as you requested.
- To keep records required for a nonprofit, including donation records for tax purposes.
- To understand how the website is used so we can improve it.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who can see it
Information you submit is available to members of the CJT Board of Trustees, who are volunteers, and is used only for CJT business. We also rely on these service providers, who handle information on our behalf under their own privacy policies:
- Google: website analytics (Google Analytics), our contact form, and email.
- JotForm: enrollment and membership forms.
- Fillout: concert ticket, Program Book ad, and senior biography forms.
- Givebutter: online donations.
- Cloudflare: spam protection on our contact form.
- Firebase (Google): website hosting.
We may also share information if required by law.
Children’s information
CJT welcomes members ages 5 through 21. Our enrollment and membership forms are meant to be completed by a parent or guardian, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without a parent’s or guardian’s consent. If you believe a child under 13 has sent us information without consent, please contact us and we will delete it.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. It uses cookies and collects usage data, not your name or contact details. You can block cookies in your browser settings or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Our donation and form providers may set their own cookies when you use their forms.
How long we keep it
We keep information as long as it is useful for running CJT. In practice, membership, alumni, and donation records may be kept indefinitely as part of our history. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below), except where we must keep it, such as donation records for tax purposes.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you or your child, or to stop sending you emails. Email contact@croatianpride.org and we will respond as soon as we can.
How we protect it
We use reputable service providers, secure (HTTPS) connections, and limit access to board members. No website or online service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
