Trial Period Enrollment
Each new member begins with CJT for one-month as a trial period before official enrollment. In order to stay current with any practice changes or events, we ask that you complete a Trial-Period Enrollment Form so that we have access to your contact information.
Official Enrollment
After your trial period has ended, we ask that you complete the Official Membership Application Form. This form is mandatory to be completed in order to become an official member of CJT. Official enrollment must be completed within 5 days after your trial period ended.
Expectations for New Families and Members
Students
We expect students to arrive on time for all regularly scheduled practices and to be dressed appropriately. Students should practice their instrument at home for at least 15 minutes per day. During practice sessions and performances, they are expected to behave respectfully, stay engaged, and most importantly—have fun!
Parents
CJT relies on parents to ensure their child arrives on time for all scheduled practices and performances. Parents play a key role in their child’s development by encouraging regular practice of dance, music, and song at home. Celebrate your child’s progress and encourage them to share what they’ve learned!
As a non-profit organization, CJT depends on parent involvement in fundraising efforts. Throughout the year, we organize various fundraisers to help offset costs for trips, instruments, costumes, instructor fees, events, and more. Your participation helps keep CJT strong and thriving!
Registration and Membership Fees
Please submit both forms to the CJT Finance Department. A single check may be written for the total amount, and we will forward your CFU application and payment to the Corporate Office.
Annual or quarterly dues
Choose whichever billing schedule works best for your family: annual or quarterly. Paying annually saves you the most. All members in 2nd grade or older participate in both Music and Dance lessons.
As children move up to the next group or begin playing an instrument, dues are prorated based on when the change occurs.
We prefer payments via Automated Clearing House (ACH). If writing a check, please make it payable to Cleveland Jr. Tamburitzans (CJT).
If you have three or more children enrolled, the 3rd child and above is free!
